On Monday 30th September, we held a Networking Event, where all the directors or producers with created ideas for their major project films pitched said ideas and create crews. The event was a chance to see other projects and their approaches to this year's work. It also gave me a chance to look into contributing to other projects, of which I offered assistant cinematography work to one other.
For this event, even though we were already in a group, we created a recce video, presented with our treatment, with Hannah (director) presenting the information and selling the idea for any extra crew members to get on board with.
The event was helpful to see the ideas of others as well as ensure I was happy with the project I wanted to pursue. It was good to see how different people approached this.
